Saturday April 3, 2010 AGES 7-12 BASEBALL AND  6-12 GIRLS SOFTBALL All players need to participate in this skills day at the Athens West State Street baseball fields. Player and parent/guardian attendance is mandatory. This day will be the basis of determining teams.  Players need a glove and may bring a bat. Players participate in throwing, fielding and batting. Players should dress for the weather conditions.  Pictures  of Prior Evaluation Day.  Each age division meets for approximately two hours.  Meet at the concession stand to sign in and receive a number.    YOU NEED TO CHECK IN AT THE CONCESSION STAND AND SIGN IN!  YOU WILL BE GIVEN A NUMBER! This is usally done outside!  Sometimes there is light rain or even snow.  Plan on evaluations taking place.  If weather is a problem, times may be pushed back.  Cancellation is a last resort. I f cancelled due to weather, cancellations will be made at the fields.  If cancelled for the day, it will be held the following day at the same times. Commissioners will need to be present to evaluate players for their age division.   All players need to be evaluated this weekend, so we can form teams, assign coaches and order uniforms.
