There are typically two league commissioners
for each age division. Specific duties are
seen below. Basically, the League Commissioners
are needed to act as their respective age
division chiefs and answer any questions and
deal with situations within their age group, and
are the coach's contact for information in their
age division. They work in
cooperation with the Board and help the league
run smoothly.

DUTIES OF
COMMISSIONERS
The
Commissioner will be in charge of operations for
the age division he/she represents. All
decisions need to be approved by the Sandlot
Board. Exceptions to this would be game time
decisions such as; rule interpretations,

If
the division commissioners cannot agree on
an answer to an issue or have conflicting
opinions about an issue, they should notify
the head commissioner of the division who will
assist them in reaching a decision or make the
final decision. If conflicts exist
regarding an issue, then the head commissioner
makes the final decision after consulting with
the board if necessary.
It
is the Commissioners responsibility to be
present on game days, or notify the Assistant
