Keith Bolin finished out a monument for the Athens Jaycees redidication plaque commemorating the 40th year anniversary of the group building the two original softball fields when the "park" was a field of corn. The placque will be installed later this summer. The Athens Jaycees created the original two softball fields when the area was just a corn field. The Athens Sandlot Board felt that same community spirit could live on with their field renovation/creation project started in 2004.
