Major League Field History

When deciding on which fields to recreate, we (Board Members) all had our particular favorites.  We settled on a particular few because we hoped in some small way to pass down a little history of why the game was (and is) so special.

We agreed on these parks because we believe they embrace and represent  a special part of baseball history.  A part of baseball when, as a kid, sliding safe into second feels just as good as rooting your favorite team on to win  (which was just about as important).

These parks, like most parks, have seen their share of famous players, plays, and coaches over the years. Our fields have already seen some of their own as well.

Our hope is that kids who use these fields today will be able to come back with their kids someday and share some of the same fun we’ve all had with our kids.

Click on the links below for some history on the original parks.
