INTERNSHIPS!
Each year Athens
Sandlot seeks interns to help with running league operations.
This includes various duties and is dependant
on the person's major, ability to work
with others, and availability. Most interns receive credit for
their field of study though their
respective departments. Interns are not usually not
compensated but work for the experience although compensation
may be available through the school.
Sports administrtaion majors enjoy
working closely with the organization and day to day
operations of the league. Business majors
will likely want to be involved
with the concessions operation where they can
help organize volunteers, order inventory, schedule hours, and
run day to day operations.
