2005 Field Improvements

The Athens Sandlot Baseball League began renovations Saturday, March 5th, 2005 on three baseball fields at Jaycee Fields on West State Street with plans to turn them into replicas of famous ball diamonds. Read more about this project in The Athens Messenger article.
